Kueh Putugal is a Nyonya/Eurasian kueh that is rarely available nowadays. It is made up of natural coloured layers of steamed tapioca with slices of bananas sandwiched in between. Topped with generous amount of freshly grated coconut, the combination of flavours and texture make this kueh unique unlike any other. The blue hue comes from the extract of blue pea flowers.
